Dark circles under your eyes - it could be genetics, lack of sleep, seasonal allergies, and so on! Regardless of the reason for dark circles or puffiness around your eyes, it’s generally preferable to present a bright-eyed, clear face in the mornings, whether you’re going to work, meeting friends, or running errands. Unfortunately it can be a little tough to tell how bad your circles are, especially if they’ve gradually been getting worse, but you don’t notice because you see them all the time. Check out these four indicators that you might want to treat your dark circles...

You could win a “raccoon impression” contest. They’re cute and all - from a distance! But if you’re starting to resemble these furry, banded critters, it might be time to invest in a dark circle eye treatment. Circles that are very dark can be distracting, both to you and to your peers and colleagues. Of course, if this is your makeup style, then dark circle treatment doesn’t really matter!

“I have a newborn”...but not really. Everyone knows that children take a lot of time, especially newborns. When you’re up every 2-3 hours at night for weeks on end, that lack of sleep can add up...and show up on your face! Of course, it’s perfectly understandable that people in this position develop dark circles, but if you don’t actually have a baby at home (even if you do!), it might be time to hit the sack and try to minimize those circles.

It looks like I’ve been partying all night. If puffy eyes and dark circles are starting to show up on a regular basis (especially during the week), your coworkers might start wondering what you’re up to every night...or your boss might wonder why your work performance is slacking! Both of these scenarios could be damaging to your reputation or make a poor first impression with clients, dates, etc.

You’re sniffling, sneezing, and coughing. It’s sad but true - even changes in the weather can affect whether you get dark circles or puffy eyes! If you’re getting seasonal allergies once or twice a year that are affecting the skin on your face, at least you have the advantage of knowing when raccoon-eyes will strike, and can prepare ahead of time.

Alright, so here were four indicators that you might want to consider some sort of treatment for dark circles or puffiness around your eyes. If you recognize yourself in any of these scenarios, you might want to check out this product. Of course, dark circles will crop up sometimes, and there’s nothing better than a good night of sleep to catch up. But if you really want to look refreshed, awake, and bright every day, then a good eye treatment will help you go the distance!
